Here's a favorite tip of Don Miller, who buys hundreds of pounds of glass annually for the U-M Dearborn Flameworking program: Glass comes in batches, good and bad. Sometimes it's wonderful and sometimes it's really awful. If you get a color or particularly clean sample of glass, call your supplier up and order more right away!
